Find The Fake FEH ArtDescription:
A slideshow of altered images from Fire Emblem Heroes, used as a gameshow for contestants to determine which is the fake one.
For EmblemCon 2024, I had some new ideas to bring to the convention, one of them being a game show based off of Nokimon's Find The Fake Shiny Pokemon video series. I wanted to bring it to EmblemCon but with my own twist to it.
Much like Nokimon's, I took the idea and presented it as a slideshow, where each of the questions and art would be living. The actual edits to the images were pretty simple, as I had been acquainted with some photoshop features that made subtle edits a breeze. The actual challenge, however, was making sure it was realistic. For some edits, I had to make sure it wasn't too subtle, and I wanted to give the edits meaning too. I didn't want to change things randomly, there had to be a reason for the change. It's more believable that way.
One of the problems I encountered, however, was ensuring that the players could see the art. Due to streaming limitations on Discord, the art would appear smaller for the players and may cause some issues. Thus, to alleviate it, I created a copy of the slideshow that takes out the extra stuff like numbers and the logo to give extra space, and give it to the players as as a "Player copy" so they can examine the art more closely.

The title screen of the presentation, using EmblemCon's logo and one of my online usernames. Every good slideshow needs an intro slide after all!
An example of one of the questions, where one of the images had some edits done to them. Can you guess which one was edited?
The final round, where every image, except 1, are edited. Can you find what the real sprite is?
