Pokemon Trainer Delilah WebsiteDescription:
A website made to display and showcase information about an OC Pokemon Trainer.
This website was a passion project of mine, based on my Pokémon idea that I had been developing for years upon years.
I had an established story, team, and lots of images to use so I thought "Why not make a website about it!"
Using the techniques I learned from Semester 3 in college, I crafted a website that I felt was one of my best pieces of work at the time.
The biggest issue I had at the time was the mock loading screen. We were taught to use async and defer for our javascript files, and when we use greensock, to use async. I did as instructed, but there were some issues where the animation wasn't kicking in. It only did about 50% of the time. I tried all I could to fix it, but to no success.
I brought the issue over to Professor De Luca who examined the problem and noticed that there's apparently some issue with using Greensock and Async that he wasn't able to figure out. He suggested using defer, and I had a 100% success rate in triggering the animation.
This project is by far one of my favourites yet, because I feel it showcased my growth as a front-end developer.

I turned a commission I got from PokeHexDex into a customized fake-loading screen, using a combination of the GreenSock library, Adobe After Effects, and EZGif.
I commissioned my friend Sunbiscuit for pictures of my trainer with her Pokemon, for the Pokemon biography pages. I wanted to display it as toggleable information that changes dynamically using Javascript.
The Trainer page functions similarly to the Pokemon page, where it will display information based on the phases on my trainer's life.
