Case Study

This pixel icon was made specifically for my portfolio, which can be found in many different instances throughout the website. For example, it can be found as the favicon to the whole website. It can also be found on Error 404 pages as well!

Much like the Mudkip Pixel Icon, this sprite created by using the Pokemon Emerald trainer as a reference, and then being tweaked based on how I understood pixel icons are done.

By far the biggest challenge was understanding how to translate the skirt into pixel style, as there's details that could be misinterpreted if used wrongly. Using the limited space I had, I went with a gut feeling on what I felt was an accurate portrayal of how the design is supposed to look.
